BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) - Things are cooling off at Israelite Baptist Church thanks to the works of a good samaritan.
These new air conditioning units are the result of folks in the community of Isrealite Baptist Church pitching in to help out.
They installed cages that hold the units in place, that are also cemented into the ground.
You'll recall, the church was hit by bandits. Who police say, stole the A/C units to cash in on the copper inside.
Pastor Donald Stirling said none of it would be possible without the help of good samaritans.
"We've been blessed, better than blessed, and we're not saying that there's not good people in the city or in our community, cause there are good people, because this person did not have to do what he did."-said Reverend Stirling
