BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) - Here in the capitol city, restaurants and bars are gearing up for what they expect will be a huge turnout on New Years.
Some businesses plan on pulling out all the stops to make sure 2012 starts off with a bang,
many bars in the capitol city like Hooters on Siegen Lane say they'll have drink specials and large crowds.
Others plan to take their party out doors. The Grape in Perkins Rowe kicks off their first annual outdoor party Saturday.
They say they'll open their restaurant to folks in Perkins Rowe, have live music, and even serve champagne at midnight.
"It'll be out here, we're gonna have lots of tents, we're gonna have lots of heaters, it's gonna be a really good party, it's gonna be dress to impress, strict dress code on that night alone, we're gonna open all of our doors, and make it an indoor, outdoor party,” said Amy Alise, General Manager at The Grape.
