BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) - It was down to the wire for local track star making her big decision on where she’ll be running track next year.

Hosanna Christian’s Laticia Watson took a unique route Wednesday choosing from different cupcakes representing her three official college offers.

UL-Monroe, Nicholls St. and Louisiana Tech were the choices.

According to Laticia the cupcake with the blue M&M’s representing the Bulldogs of Louisiana Tech tasted the best and she’ll be heading to Ruston.

"I'll be happy there. I know people there, I have peace there. My coach is Christian I love it, everything about it,” Watson said.

She holds three individual state records and tallied up 14 individuals state championships at her time at Hosanna Christian Academy.
