Louisiana State Police Officers are on the lookout for drunk drivers during Christmas
BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) - Louisiana State Police are cracking down on drunk driving this holiday season.
Trooper Russel Graham of the Louisiana State Police says over the past three years the number of people drinking and driving has gone down.
But Graham say there are still fatalities caused by buzzed drivers. State Police want you to know, one drink is still too many.
"They go with that terribly foolish idea that the person who's had the least amount to drink is okay to drive. Impaired is impaired, if you have alchohol in your system, you don't need to be behind the wheel of a car," said Louisiana State Trooper Russell Graham.
