LSU baseball blast MSU, 17-1
Tigers improve to 12-16 in the SEC
The LSU baseball team continued their hot streak Thursday night as they bounced Mississippi State 17-1 in Starkville. The win makes it five straight for the Tigers who are making a push for the SEC tournament.
LSU freshman pitcher Kevin Gausman threw 7.2 innings allowing only one run. Mikie Mahtook had three hits and three runs batted in.
LSU still needs two more wins to qualify for the tournament. First pitch for tomorrows game is set for 6:30 p.m. Saturdays game is set for 2 p.m. Friday and Saturdays games television
