Hundreds show up to ask questions at forum
BATON ROUGE, La (WGMB)--LSU's core mission will move on despite all the budget cuts.
That's the message Chancellor Michael Martin gave Tuesday afternoon.
More than 300 people showed up to a budget forum this afternoon at the Shaver Theatre on campus.
Martin addressed the crowd first before taking questions that were submitted from a campus-wide survey.
The chancellor used the forum to squash rumors of individual college closings.
He also suggested selling naming rights to certain buildings and structures on campus to make money for the University.
This was the first of two chancellor- faculty senate meetings scheduled for this semester.
