BATON ROUGE, La (FOX44) - Over eight-thousand dollars were raised for the American Red Cross last weekend at Alex Box Stadium. Donations came in the forms of bills, coins and even text messages. But the kindness from Tiger nation didn't stop there. Kim Crane, owner of The Lady Tiger Depot, is organizing a trip to the tornado damaged areas of Alabama. Her hope is to bring clothing items, toiletries, and other necessities to those in need.

Her truck, u-haul, and caring heart will hit the road May 20th. You can drop off your donation at The Lady Tiger Depot at 7731 Perkins Road. For other drop off locations visit http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=222109181138915
