LSU's Mathieu apologizes on twitter
BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) - LSU cornerback Tyrann Mathieu apologized to his fans on his twitter account Thursday night tweeting:
"& to my fans and all those who look up to me I'm deeply sorry for what happened this week! #GEAUXTIGERNATION"
Mathieu is reportedly suspended for this Saturday's game against Auburn along with cornerback Tharold Simon and running back Spencer Ware.
A report on ESPN.com says that two sources close to the LSU program said the trio failed school administered drug test, testing positive for synthetic marijuana.
LSU officials have made no comment on the allegations concerning the failed drug test.
A source close to the LSU program tells FOX44 News the three players face a one game suspension.
