HOLLYWOOD, CA (FOX44) – "The Lucky One" is the seventh book by author Nicholas Sparks to hit the big screen. Zac Efron and Taylor Schilling star in this date movie about a soldier who searches for a woman whose photo he discovers while serving in Iraq. The cast says everyone can relate to this love story.
Efron says: "Logan's got a strong sense of integrity, he always does what's right, no matter how much harder that path may be he always does the right thing and he tries to the best of his ability to be honest.”
Danner says: "Everybody's struggling in their own way; life is a struggle in its own way so you hit your ebs and flow and ups and downs and it's a wonderful way to escape."
Sparks says: "First look like Zac Efron, that's a good start or if you want you can look like Channing Tatum or Ryan Gosling, number two love deeply, be noble, be honorable and kind and number three be passionate and willing to commit forever and then if you’re on that track you'll be doing ok."
With seventeen books in print and two more movies in the works, Sparks believes his secret is simple.
Sparks says: "There are not a lot of novels out there that say I’m going to hit all the emotions and then they could feel as real as possible, so you feel like you've lived a mini life."
The film's poster brought out the romantic side of the film's co-stars.
Efron says: "Romantic kisses by the tree with sunsets is always good, that's good.”
Schilling says: "It's the hand, it's the forearm and thumb on the ear.”
