Man dies after multiple gun shot wounds
THIS IS A FOX44 NEWS UPDATE: Detectives are investigating the shooting death of Everette Duane Crosley, 45, who was found lying in the roadway in the 1600 block of N. 38th around 1:10 a.m. It appears he had been shot twice. He was transported to the Baton Rouge General Mid-City where he was pronounced dead.
Evidence indicates Crosley was actually shot in a grass lot in the 1600 block of N. 37th and walked to N. 38th before collapsing from a loss of blood. Crosley was reportedly transient but had been staying in an abandoned residence near where he was found.
BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) -- A man was shot to death early this morning. Police are working to figure out a motive for this crime.
The Baton Rouge Police Department responded to the call of shots fired around 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 13. When they arrived on scene, they found a man laying in the roadway with multiple gun shot wounds.
The man was taken to the Baton Rouge General in Mid-City, but he later died as a result of his injuries.
The crime scene is located on North 38th Street.
Police say they have not yet identified the victim, nor have they determined a motive for this shooting incident.
