BATON ROUGE (FOX44) - Saturday morning a man was robbed and killed in his driveway on Prescott road.

It happened around 2:00 a.m.
East Baton Rouge Sheriff's detectives say when they got the call, they spoke to a man that said he and his friend were coming back to their house.

Detectives say as they got out of their car, two disguised men robbed them, and told them to lay on the ground.

One of the victims got up and ran to a friend's house, he dialed 9-1-1.

His other friend, Ronald Penn, 34, was shot in the back multiple times.

Neighbors say they only "heard" what happened.

"He shot the other dude, told the dude to empty his pockets, told him to lay down, shot him seven times, that's all I can tell you."
