BATON ROUGE, La (FOX44) - A man has been arrested in connection with an August 24 shooting in Bogalusa.
Derrick Jefferson, 26, was booked Tuesday with attempted second degree murder for his alleged role in the shooting which occurred at the Redmond Heights Housing Projects. No one was hurt when a reported 30 rounds were fired off in the projects.
Jefferson was also charged with aggravated assault with a firearm, aggravated criminal damage to property and convicted felon in possession of a firearm. He was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison as a fugitive from the Bogalusa Police Department.
