BATON ROUGE, La (FOX44) – Road rage led to a man being arrested on March 3.
An East Baton Rouge deputy was driving on Highway 964 in an unmarked police car when a merging truck cut him off. The driver of the truck began to wave a pistol.
While the driver never directly pointed the weapon at the officer, it still was a threat. The deputy contacted uniformed officers, and the driver was pulled over; he was found to have a semiautomatic pistol with six live rounds.
Curtis Shepherd, 19, was charged with Aggravated Assault and Possession of Marijuana.
