Mayor to host 'Celebrity Bowling Challenge to Strike Out Hunger'
BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) -- East Baton Rouge Parish Mayor-President Melvin “Kip” Holden will host the “Mayor’s Celebrity Bowling Challenge to Strike Out Hunger” at the Baton Rouge River Center on Friday, Feb. 24 at 4:30 p.m.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank.
The tournament coincides with the United States Bowling Congress, which Baton Rouge is hosting this year, and will include a VIP reception where participants can meet and greet with the celebrities and enjoy food and beverages provided by local restaurants, followed by the bowling event.
