Mel Gibson struck a plea agreement
HOLLYWOOD HOOKUP (FOX44) – TMZ reporting, Mel Gibson struck an agreement with prosecutors and he will appear in court Friday to plead no contest to simple battery, a lesser charge than corporal injury on a spouse. It’s all over a fight from back in January, with then-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva. The actor's attorney says Gibson took the deal with his family in mind. We’re told he'll have to go to counseling but faces no jail time.
An Atlanta nightclub is suing heat star Lebron James, accusing him of backing out of promise to make a one-hour appearance later this month. The "Opera" nightclub says James cancelled on a march 17 showing in which he was to be paid $25,000. That's* $417 per minute! The nightclub is very angry and they say his representative accepted $15,000 in advanced payments.
