AROUND THE WORLD (FOX44) – Mexico, a 300-acre pot farm found in a remote desert surrounded by cactuses. Some of the marijuana plants were eight feet tall. Soldiers made the find Tuesday while on patrol and it’s believed the crop would’ve yielded an estimated 160-million dollars. Six farmers have been arrested but the rest of them managed to escape.

Italy – Hail Mary’s won't do much good for this suspect. He got caught after posing as a priest and holding up a jewelry store. Police say he wore the attire to blend into the crowd but the get-up made it easier for cops to find him after reviewing surveillance footage.

South Korea – Some people here eat dog meat soup to keep cool during the heat wave. It's a tradition that animal activists want to put an end to. They put on a very dramatic performance on the street and they also encouraged people to replace their dog soup with a meat-free one.

Japan – A ten year old is the youngest certified sake expert. Don't worry, she isn't breaking any laws. Her keen sense of smell and knowledge of the alcohol has made her a specialist in matching sake with food.

England – It's not quite 101 but it's about as close as you're going to get in real life. A Dalmatian has given birth to a rare litter of 16-puppies. And as if that wasn't unusual enough, the puppies' mother was born in a litter of sixteen also.
