Some tense moments on a Missouri military base when gunfire is exchanged between a man, and a guard.
Police identified the suspect as 31-year old Cody Wilcoxson.
They say Wilcoxson drove his vehicle through a security gate at Fort Leonard Woods after an officer asked him to turn around.
Wilcoxson fired shots at police as they pursued him.
Wilcoxson then drove his vehicle to Missouri University and entered a building carrying an AK-47.
He was later taken into custody without incident.
