PIERRE PART, LA (FOX44) - A shootout this morning in Assumption parish at Landry's Seafood restaurant.

Sheriff Mike Waguespack says Paul French, 51, walked into Landry's and started arguing with this ex-girlfriend.
Then witnesses say french pulled out a gun and killed Michelle Borer, 42.
Deputies say then, French got into a shootout with a patron.
The patron, who had a permit to carry a concealed weapon, exchanged gunfire before both went outside where french shot himself.

"I think this is gonna be a hard thing, this is the second time that we've had a death by shooting in the family and I think it's one of the hardest things to get over. " said Linda Brewer, Borer's Mother
