NBA lockout begins
The NBA's collective bargaining agreement expired at 11 p.m. (CST) Thursday and for the first time since the 1998-99 season a lockout is on. The NBA joins the NFL as professional sports currently in a labor dispute.
I had a chance to speak with Phil Breaux, a sports law professor at LSU, Thursday and he tells me that the NBA labor dispute is in worse shape than the NFL's. Breaux says the possibility of the NBA missing regular season games is high.
