Neil Patrick Harris get's a star
HOLLYWOOD HOOKUP (FOX44) – Today, Neil Patrick Harris was honored for his more than 20-years in the entertainment business with his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Emmy award-winning actor has been making people laugh, and sometimes cry, since he was a teenager. This is the 2,448th marker awarded to the greats in the entertainment business. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has been adding stars to the walk of fame since 1960.
– Filming for Penelope Cruz’s new film is underway in Sarajevo. The Oscar-winner is starring in "Venuto al Mundo" or "Into the World." It's based on a novel by Italian writer Margaret Mazzantini, whose husband Sergio Castellitto is directing the film. The film is slated for release in Italy next September and Spain next November.
– The executors of Michael Jackson’s estate are going to give 30-million dollars to the Jackson family trust. In court documents filed Tuesday say that the estate has raised more than 310-million dollars since the pop star's death in 2009. This has allowed them to pay off debts and negotiate lower interest loans. The money will be used to help support Jackson’s mother, three children and various charities.
