New Driver's test helps new drivers not to litter

BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) - The new year brings new Louisiana drivers a few more questions on their DMV test.
The goal make teens think twice before tossing trash on the highway.

The new DMV test will have 2 more questions on it. But the entire Driver's Education program will add information on a litter free Louisiana .
It's part of a big effort by state legislators and Keep Louisiana Beautiful to what they say will save up to 40 million dollars in trash clean up around the state.

"If young people understand this and see what the real impact of litter is then we hope that we'll ultimately get to have a state as clean as it is beautiful," said Keep Louisiana Beautiful Executive Director, Leigh Harris said.
