NEW YORK, NY (FOX44) – Watch Meryl Streep disappear into the role of British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. A performance that earned her another Academy Award, as "The Iron Lady" starts this new on DVD list. The take home version includes making-of extras and other featurettes.

On "The Darkest Hour" DVD find deleted and extended scenes. The sci-fi thriller stars Emile Hirsch and follows 5-Americans stranded in Moscow helping to fend off an alien attack.

Another classic film gets its Blu-ray make-over and this time it's "A Streetcar Named Desire" starring Marlon Brando, Vivien Leigh, Kim Hunter, and Karl Malden to commemorate the 60th anniversary of playwright Tennessee Williams’ work. The film makes its revamped debut with a Blu-ray book featuring 40-pages of photos, trivia, and more.

In new music, Bonnie Raitt sends out her first studio album in 7-years called "Slipstream" and Counting Crows new album "Underwater Sunshine (or what we did on our summer vacation)” is full of the band's favorite covers.
