HOLLYWOOD, CA (FOX44) – A frightening fictional re-write of NASA's history, the big screen "Apollo 18" turns fact into fiction with a sci-fi fantasy trip thru outer space. This supposed documentary kicks off this week's new DVD’s, “Apollo 18” follows a secret mission to the moon, a year after the last manned trip in 1972. With a story of earth-based scares comes part 5 of the horror franchise "Final Destination" as a new group of victims cheat death, while running from a terrifying fate.

From the world of TV, a couple of ShowTime series bring their first seasons to stores with the Gallagher family of "Shameless" and Jeremy Irons in “The Borgais". The off-beat animated FX series "Archer" brings the new cases of season 2. While the Jersey Shore cast's fist-pumping makes it all the way to Italy with a 4-disc DVD of episodes and deleted scenes on "Jersey Shore Unsensored: Season 4".

Composers Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross show off their Oscar-winning movie scoring skills on another David Fincher film with "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo Soundtrack" in stores, just as the film makes it's theatrical debut.
