NEW YORK, NY (FOX44) – Some Oscar winners and contenders are coming to store shelves, as well new music ahead of the Country Music Awards.

All aboard this week's new DVD list, with Alvin, Simon, and Theodore leading the way. The musical trio hits the high seas in "Alvin and The Chipmunks: Chipwrecked”, with sing-and-dance-a-long music videos, extended scenes, and more. Take a dramatic turn with Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock in the Oscar-nominated post-9/11 film "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" as a son goes on a personal quest across New York after finding a key left by his late father.

Getting a heavy dose of therapy on DVD is "A Dangerous Method" starring Viggo Mortensen, Michael Fassbender, and Keira Knightley, the Sigmund Freud drama comes with a making-of feature. The 20th anniversary of “The Bodyguard” brings back the classic romance starring the late Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner, along with the "I Will Always Love You" music video and more extras. Marking a 70th anniversary milestone with 14-hours of bonus content the classic film "Casablanca" returns on a 3-disc Blu-ray and DVD combo edition which includes two never before seen documentaries, plus collectables like photos and personal memos.

Learn more about this year's ACM nominees with the "47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards Limited-Edition 'ZinePak” featuring a 20-song CD with hits from the entire entertainer of the year nominees and new artist of the year contenders. Musical icon Lionel Richie shows off his country side on his new album, "Tuskegee", featuring the singer on duets of his greatest hits with stars from Shania Twain to Rascal Flatts.

And speaking of music icons, pop queen Madonna and special guests like Nicki Minaj and MIA are getting folks dancing already to her latest album “MDNA”.
