New information in Shooting in Iberville Parish

Friday, December 30, 2011 - 8:10pm

PLAQUEMINE, LA (FOX44) - There's new information in a story we brought you last night from Plaquemine.

Police say they've arrested two people for shooting windows out of businesses.

Police say Travor Landry, 18, and William Leblanc, 18, shot out some windows of about two-dozen places in Plaquemine in Iberville Parish.

Police say the two were identified from surveillance video from a Wal-Mart.

That's where police say the two stole a pellet gun that was used in the shootings.

The store manager of one of the businesses, Leblanc's food store says he's they're glad they're caught, so they can't cause any more damage.

"I don't think it's gonna be minor, you have to realize that they've done a lot of damage, I think it's a total of 44 businesses inside the city limits of plaquemine, I think 11 outside the city limits of plaquemine, and I understand it was six school busses," said Richard Alleman, Leblanc's Store Manager
