BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) – A boy with a bomb, some help, a final destination, and Glee in 3D, that about sums up your new box office releases for this weekend.
In this action-packed comedy, a pizza delivery boy, Nick (Jesse Eisenberg) is kidnapped by two wannabe thugs (Danny McBride and Nick Swardson). The wannabe’s strap a bomb to Nick’s chest and give him just hours to rob a bank. He enlists the help of his ex-best friend, Chet (Aziz Ansari) and the two face many obstacles as time ticks by. The film was directed by Reuben Fleischer and has an R rating.
Based in Jackson, Mississippi in the 1960’s “The Help” is a story about an ambitious writer named Skeeter (Emma Stone) who returns to Mississippi and becomes friends with a couple of maids, Aibeleen (Viola Davis) and Minny (Octavia Spencer). The three unlikely friends start their journey on a secret writing project that changes everything, not just for them, but for everyone around them. This film is based on the #1 New York Times Best-sellers and is rated PG-13.
In the latest installment of Final Destination, a new group of people are trying to figure out how to stay alive after cheating death once again. Sam (Nicholas D’Agosto) has a vision of a bridge collapsing, where he and his co-workers all die. When he realizes that his vision is about to really happen, he gets as many of his co-workers off the bridge. After they are all safe, the adventure begins to try and keep them all alive. This film is rated R and is playing in 3D and IMAX 3D.
“Glee 3D” is a documentary filmed during the Glee Live tour. All of your favorite Glee characters will be there, including Lea Michele & Cory Monteith. This film has been rated PG-13.
