NEW YORK, NY (FOX44) – A chance encounter leads to super-powered and dangerous consequences for three high school friends. And they "Chronicle" the whole thing in this new action-packed mocu-mentary style flick.

"Big Miracle" is hoping to make a big splash at the box office. The film is inspired by the true story of a family of gray whales trapped by ice in the Arctic Circle and the tireless efforts of the human friends determined to save them.

Daniel Radcliffe graduates from wizarding to fighting the supernatural in the chiller ghost-story “The Woman in Black" about a lawyer sent to a small village on a haunting assignment.

The creaking doors are at home too, as "The Innkeepers" brings its tale of an angry spirit who just won't go away, on demand and in select theaters.

And Madonna goes behind the camera for her first feature film “W.E.” a time-jumping drama centered on the infamous love story of King Edward the 8th and the American divorcee he abdicated the throne for.

Superpowers, the supernatural, and those super-stars all keeping you entertained at the movies this week.
