NEW YORK, NY (FOX44) – Sacha Baron Cohen aims to rule over the box office with his latest comic creation "The Dictator", the story of ruthless leader Admiral General Aladeen of Wadiya and his mission to stop democracy. He's invading theaters with his usual no-holds-barred humor, complete with a global promotion in full character. This time there is a twist for Cohen, as the film had a script and brought Hollywood actors Sir Ben Kingsley and Anna Faris in on the joke.
But Aladeen's iron fist must go up against the U.S. Navy in "Battleship", an action-adventure with plenty of obligatory fight scenes courtesy of a cast that includes Liam Neeson, Taylor Kitsch and Rihanna. The flick may also pack that nostalgia factor based loosely on the classic game and that could have it sinking the competition.
But when it comes to targeting the female audience, the cast of "What to Expect When You're Expecting" may have that market cornered. As Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, Matthew Morrison and others deliver the tale of couples experiencing the joy and drama that come with having a baby.
And "The Avengers" is expected to continue its super-powered run in the number one spot.
