BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) – “Apollo 18”

Two American astronauts were sent on a secret mission to the moon in December of 1973. The film shows actual footage from that mission. NASA denies that the footage is real but others think differently. And some people say the footage shows the real reason why we have never gone back to the moon. Rated R

“Shark Night 3D”

Sara (Sara Paxton) has invited her friends to spend the weekend at her family’s lake house on an island in the Louisiana Gulf. The fun in the sun weekend ends up turning into a nightmare as they realize the lake has been stocked with huge, blood-thirsty sharks. Sara and her friends now will have to figure out how to get across the lake to safety and stay alive in the process. This film also stars Dustin Milligan, Chris Carmack, Joel David Moore, Chris Zylka, and Katharine McPhee. Rated PG-13

“The Debt”

This time-jumping spy thriller is about three retired Israeli secret agents Rachel (Helen Mirren), Stefan (Tom Wilkinson), and David (Ciaran Hinds). Thirty years ago they went on a secret mission to hunt down a Nazi war criminal and they thought they had completed the mission but now they’re not so sure. Now it is up to Rachel to find out the truth. Rated R

“Seven Days in Utopia”

David L. Cook’s best-selling book “Golf’s Sacred Journey: Seven Days in the Links of Utopia” is turned into an inspiring film about a young man’s journey to become a professional golfer. After Luke (Lucas Black) does not do so well on the pro circuit he decides to get away for a while. He ends up in the small town of Utopia and befriends a man named Johnny (Robert Duvall). Johnny helps Luke see the game of golf and life in a whole new way. This film also stars Deborah Ann Woll and Melissa Leo. Rated G
