New trolly route in Baton Rouge
BATON ROUGE (FOX44) - The CATS Bus System announces a new trolley system that will make it easier for visitors to enjoy the capitol city.
"Trolley Rouge" is a new route in baton rouge that will run by hot spots like Hollywood Casino, Downtown Baton Rouge, Towne Center and Perkins Rowe.
CATS wants the new route to attract the 200,000 visitors that roll into baton rouge during football season. It will run on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sundays, Noon to 4:00 pm.
Mayor Kip Holden says he's really excited about the new route.
"It's showing innovative thinking, whereby now we're reaching out and we're marketing a lot more of our programs and what we have to offer." Mayor-President Kip Holden, said.
