HOLLYWOOD HOOKUP (FOX44) – A celebrity calls the cops after finding something scary – a dead person! Peter Fonda dials 911 after he saw a body slumped over in a car on Sunset Boulevard. Police are investigating, but say the 70-year old is absolutely not a suspect. Fonda is best known for his role in the 1969 film “Easy Rider.”
Backstreet Boy AJ McClean is back in rehab. The 33-year old didn’t give any reason for why he’s seeking treatment. He did tell People Magazine that he wants to be healthy for his Backstreet tour, which starts this summer.
And another big tour kicks off tonight. Usher’s in Berlin to get the European leg of the “OMG” gig going. But fans had to rearrange their schedules for this one. The R&B singer called in sick yesterday, so tonight’s show is actually a make up concert.
And now Tiger Woods, Lance Armstrong and Donald Trump all have something in common. They’re really bad at selling things. A new study ranks a Woods Nike commercial, an Armstrong Radio Shack spot and a Trump Macy’s ad the least effective celebrity endorsements. It’s not clear if it was because consumers didn’t know what the stars were promotion or if they just didn’t like those celebrities to begin with.
