PIERRE PART, LA (FOX44) -- A meth lab operation was shut down before it could be started when Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office agents arrested a man on Feb.16.
Johnathon Metrejean, 22, was detained after his house was searched. The sheriff's office had received anonymous tips that someone at that address was trying to start up a drug operation in Pierre Part. Upon arriving, the officers found pre-cursors of a meth lab, along with paraphernalia and prescription pills on his person.
He was charged with Operation or Creation of a Clandestine Laboratory, Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule II (Oxycodone), Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule III (Hydrocodone), Possesson with Intent to Distribute Schedule IV (Xanax) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
