BATON ROUGE, La (FOX44) — A power failure has forced Capital Area United Way offices to close today.
The offices are located at 700 Laurel Street in Downtown Baton Rouge. Their phone systems and power are down.
Matt Stefan, a spokesman for the Capital Area United Way tells NBC33 News, the power went out yesterday, and right now, crews are trying to are working to restore the power and reconnect phone systems.
No word on what’s caused the issue. However, CAUW officials say they hope to reopen their offices at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow, Friday, Feb. 24.
Anyone needing assistance from the CAUW should contact them tomorrow after 10:00 a.m.
