BATON ROUGE, La (FOX44) — Baton Rouge police are still looking for answers Monday night. That's after a woman was found dead in the parking lot of an elementary school.

Detectives say Mona Lisa Seaberry was found outside of Dufrocq Elementary around nine this morning by a school employee. According to police, Seaberry, 48, wasn't wearing any clothes.

They say there are no signs of trauma or foul play surrounding the incident at this time, but people living in that neighborhood say her death makes them nervous.

Bula Johnson says, in her neighborhood, folks look out for each other. "It's old people around here, and it's mostly women. They're retired and their husbands have passed on."

Now, she's worried that keeping a watchful eye out isn't enough anymore. "When I looked outside, the man was putting up yellow tape, and they said it was a body. I couldn't believe it."

This is the second time in two years that Johnson has seen a dead body right outside her home. "I'm imagining, I could have been over there. It could have been my body," she says.

Elnora Jacobs says she doesn't feel safe in her own home anymore. "You wonder if you're going to be next," she says. "You're scared to leave your door open, scared to leave your windows opne, scared to get in your car."

She wants police to patrol the area more often.

"We're not protected here," Jacobs says. "They're not riding around where they can see. They should have been there this morning."

Both women have lived in the area for more than 50 years, but now, they're thinking about a change. "I'm scared. I'm going to put my house up for sale," Johnson says. "I'm moving."

Jacobs agrees, saying she wants to look for some place safe that she can call home. "It's so bad that I don't want to live in Baton Rouge. I don't want to live here anymore."

Police are still looking into Seaberry's death. There weren't any children at Dufrocq Elementary today. The school is closed for Thanksgiving break.
