Rihanna's music video controversy

Thursday, June 2, 2011 - 5:07pm

HOLLYWOOD HOOKUP (FOX44) – Rihanna has a new music video out and some people think it’s too violent for TV. In “Man Down” the singer is seen taking murderous revenge on her rapist. They want it pulled because they believe it encourages young women to kill. Others claim the video is about female empowerment, including Rihanna.

– Vocal sensation, Adele has been forced to cancel some of her tour dates after coming down with laryngitis. She lost her voice and can't sing, so 4-North American tour dates will have to be rescheduled.

– Demi Moore says bull-hooks on circus elephants shouldn't be allowed and the state of Georgia agrees. They passed a bill yesterday banning it. The actress told lawmakers it's a cruel practice because it leads to puncture wounds and abscesses.

– And a new Cadbury ad is anything but sweet to Naomi Campbell. It compares the super model to a milk chocolate bar. The text reads "Move over Naomi there's a new diva in town." Campbell says the ad is racist and she doesn't want black people to be described as chocolate. Cadbury says they've pulled the ad.
