LIVINGSTON PARISH, La (FOX44) — In Livingston Parish, two men are behind bars tonight after attempting to break into a home, and then trying to run over a deputy with their car.

Detectives say they caught Kevin Oshee and Brian Lilly trying to steal from a home last week.

When the two men noticed the detectives, they allegedly jumped into their car, aimed it at the deputies, and hit the gas. The detectives jumped out of the way and gave chase.

That's when the men started throwing items out of their car, including two stolen pistols and a bag of marijuana.

They were arrested and charged with several counts of Burglary and Attempted First Degree murder. Deputies say the two are linked to at least four burglaries in the area
