BATON ROUGE, La (FOX44) - An Austin, Texas native was arrested in Baton Rouge on Feb. 17 for drug charges by Delta Narcotics Task Force officials.

Jason Cox, 35, was stopped near the 1-10 and 1-12 split for a traffic violation. Inspection of his vehicle revealed $2,500 in cash on his person and 268 pounds of marijuana in his trunk.

Cox was arrested on charges of Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana.
