BATON ROUGE (FOX44) - Early Saturday morning, a fight on Dougherty street left one man shot.

Baton Rouge police say it happened around 7:40 a.m.

After talking to neighbors, they found that two men were in a fight, and then one shot the other in the chest.

The man that was shot was taken to an area hospital and is in stable condition.

This shooting is still under investigation.
