Plaquemine, La (FOX44) — John Rosso of Plaquemine loves our troops. He cares about them so much he’s decided to write the song “Lonely Soldier” to honor their service to our country.

Rosso is actually no stranger to writing patriotic songs. In total, he’s written fifteen of them. The first of those songs was written just two days after the tragic events of 9-11.

One of those who is making that ultimate sacrifice is his nephew, who is scheduled to return home later this week, “anybody who serves I’m totally proud of them” Rosso is so proud of all they’ve done that he’s decked out his house full of flags. He hopes that in some small way these flags show his appreciation for what they are doing for the United States.
