Sources: Trent Johnson likely to be named TCU head coach
BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) — Sources say LSU men’s basketball coach Trent Johnson could be named the new head coach at TCU as early as next week. Johnson has been the head coach in Baton Rouge for four years and has compiled a record of 67-64.
Johnson led the Tigers to an NCAA appearance in his first year as coach in 2008-09 but has not been back since then.
LSU’s most productive player from the 2011-12 season, Justin Hamilton, announced he will skip his senior season and turn pro.
