Southern and Alcorn State athletes say goodbye to "Zeus"

BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) - Southern and Alcorn State football players getting a chance to say their last goodbyes to one of their beloved coaches.

The viewing for Alcorn State and former Southern strength coach Thomas "Zeus" Hall was held at Beech Grove Baptist Church today.

Zeus was killed in a car accident early Saturday morning.

Zeus coached at Southern for more than ten years before becoming the strength coach at Alcorn state.

Dorrian Wilson worked with Zeus as an equipment manager on Southern's football team, she's known Zeus for over eight years, and she remembered him at his best.

"He had an amazing work ethic. I never heard him complain about anything. His saying is, the main thing is the main thing, and the main thing is to win a championship." Dorrian Wilson, A former atheletic staffer at Southern, and friend of Zeus, said.
