Jags advance in SWAC tournament

The Southern baseball team is one game closer to a SWAC tournament championship. The Jaguars defeated Jackson State Thursday night 13-6. With the win Southern improves to 28-20 on the season.

Frazier Hall had three hits and five runs batted in. Wilmy Marrero had four hits and scored two runs.

The Jags next game is Friday at 6 p.m. at Fair Ground Fields in Shreveport.
