BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) - Finding a job after college is particularly hard right now.

Seniors at Southern University took a proactive step to see what jobs are available to them once they receive that coveted diploma.

In demand companies like Entergy and Proctor and Gamble met with seniors at the Southern University Mini Dome today.
They hope to attract Southern seniors to stay in-state and join their teams.

Senior James Brue says it's important to have a career plan before you enter college, and after you graduate.

"It's definitely important because without trying to get an internship or a co-op it's kinda hard to get a job in the future, cause a lot of people, they look at that experience, and based on if you don't have any experience, the person who has the experience will be more likely to obtain that job" James Brue, Senior at Southern University, said.
