BATON ROUGE, La (NBC33) - Southern's first baseman Frazier Hall earned Louisiana Sports Writers Association's Hitter of the Week for his performance at the plate last week.

Hall hit .818 (9-11) with two home runs, two doubles, six runs scored and 11 RBI. The SWAC Preseason Player of the year helped Southern to a 4-0 week including a victory over Loyola and three game sweep over Selma University.
