Tuesday, June 7, 2011 - 1:45pm

BATON ROUGE, La (FOX44) - A guilty plea in a tragic car crash, gives a grieving family some closure.

In District Court Monday, June 6th, 31 year old Dwayne Leggett, pleaded guilty to five counts alcohol-related vehicular homicide.

Back in October of 2009, Leggett crashed his pickup truck into another truck on
I-10 near Siegen Lane, causing it to explode in flames.

Inside that truck was a family of five, traveling through Louisiana from their home in Georgia, the youngest victim just two years old.

State Troopers say Leggett's blood-alcohol content was more than twice the legal limit.
Leggett will be sentenced on September 7th.
