Tangipahoa Man Stopped For Traffic Violation Arrested On Drug Charges
HAMMOND, LA (FOX44) -- Matthew Stevens, 24, has been arrested by Tangipahoa Parish deputies on multiple drug charges stemming from a traffic incident.
On Feb. 14, Stevens was pulled over for improper lane usage. While signing his traffic violation, the arresting officer noticed a clear bag fall from the suspect's pants, which looked to contain both Xanex and Roxy Codone.
He was then taken into custody and charged with both Possession of CDS II and Possession with the Intent to Distribute CDS II.
