Teens believed responsible for shooting at Mall of Louisiana

BATON ROUGE, LA -- East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred yesterday evening at approximately 9:35 p.m. At the Mall of Louisiana.

According to reports, a group of people (possibly juveniles) were congregating between the Rave Movie Theater and the Dillards. Some of the males in the group were allegedly having an altercation with another group of males when allegedly shots were fired. Two male juveniles, not involved in the altercation were both struck by bullets. Both males were transported to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Several black males were seen fleeing the scene toward the canal. Detectives are still investigating.
