Tennessee Highway Patrol arrests rapper Lil' Webbie
NASHVILLE, Tn (FOX44) - Webster Gradney, Jr., also known as rapper Lil’ Webbie, faces drug charges in Tennessee on April 4.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol pulled over a rented 2010 Nissan Altima for speeding on Interstate 65 southbound. The vehicle was occupied by four individuals, including Gradney, 25.
As the vehicle pulled over, the officer saw Gradney, the front passenger, throw what was believed to be marijuana out of the window.
The officer immediately secured Gradney, finding over $13,000 in a card board box on his lap and two ounces of marijuana on him.
Police also found a loaded .357 revolver from passenger Michael Abbott, 22, along with over $900 in cash.
Gradney was charged with Possession of a Schedule VI with Intent to Manufacture, Sale or Deliver and Tampering with Evidence.
Abbott was charged with Intent of Going Armed.
Driver Derric Watson, 34, was charged with Driving on a Suspended License.
The fourth occupant, Tyrone Terrio, 34, was charged with Possession of Marijuana.
