BATON ROUGE, La (FOX44) — People who live and work in Tigerland say they're scared. Residents say Tigerland has become increasingly more dangerous over the past few years. The mentioned break-ins and robberies as their biggest concerns.
That's caused them to change the way they do things in their neighborhood.
"I used to go walking around," says Neil Sinha. "You can't trust people nowadays no matter what time you go walking."
"I don't feel safe in the area at all," says LSU junior, Dana Smith. "I don't go anywhere by myself at night."
Now, many people are calling for extra police patrol in Tigerland. However, Baton Rouge Police say there's no evidence to show that there's been a spike in crime in that area.
