ARLINGTON, TX (FOX44) - It was a dominating performance in Cowboys Stadium Saturday night for the LSU football team. The Tigers defeated the Oregon Ducks 40-27.

For LSU, it was their defense that shined by shutting down an Oregon offense that averaged 47 points a year ago. LSU forced 4 turnovers in the game, setting up key touchdowns that led the Tigers to the win. In his first start since 2009 quarterback Jarrett Lee passed for just 99 yards and a touchdown. Running backs Spencer Ware and Michael Ford combined for 40 carries, 195 yards and 3 touchdowns.
